Alright, so I finally updated today. I'm really proud of my last work, "Fisherwoman". When I'm able to look at a photograph for reference, my work turns out a thousand times more accurate and flowing. I've been wanting to incorporate more movement into my work, and while this pose doesn't exactly scream "movement", it's made me hungry for different poses.
Does anyone else feel like they're cheating by using photo references? This is the primary reason I've stayed away from using them, even though it hinders my work to do so. The only thing I really changed about this picture by putting it on paper was the tattoos..Bah..
